Mumbai Marathon

Mumbai is all set to run; more than 35000 participants will run in the marathon during the weekend. The Mumbai marathon takes place annually in the month of January. This year the Mumbai marathon is held to symbolize the unity of people against terror. The Mumbai marathon is the first event to take place in the city after attacks. The marathon also shows that India is safe enough for foreigners. The marathon being held also shows that people all over the world are united against terror and they are in support of the Mumbai people. The marathon was always dominated by the Kenyans. John Kelai who was the winner the previous year is also the favorite this year too. Many of the bollywood stars will also run in this race. As Mumbai braces it self to host this mega event. Everyone’s thought will be with the victims of the attacks. The solidarity shown by the people of Mumbai is amazing everyone hopes that in the future this event held in a much happier moment.
