The politicians have to travel to many villages which may have the threat of militancy. So for campaigning the politicians are buying a lot safety gear such as the bullet proof jackets. They have also made the campaign vehicles bullet proof. It is big business for the sellers. There has also been an increase in politicians who are hiring private security officers. This show the politicians are sparing no effort in having a safe and secure campaign.
